The CATU CS-45 is an insulated rescue stick designed to safely remove victims from electrical hazards during an electric shock accident, with a 45 kV rating and 1.65 meter length. It features a non-removable rescue hook and an elastomeric handguard for secure handling, and is supplied with wall brackets for storage. It helps to clear the hazard from a distance, in accordance with CATU's STC n°43 standard.
